Heating mode
This mode works when there is a heating demand in the building. This demand triggers hot water to flow from the high energy store to the heating delivery systems. These should be normally via a under floor heating system or via a warm air ventilation due to the working temperatures of the hot water delivered (50°-60°C). Wet radiators can also be used but they must be sized correctly to deliver the required energy at these working temperatures. As energy is delivered the high temperature falls accordingly and the control stretagy needs to ensure that the heat pump can operate to maintain the high energy temperature to its set-point.
